(Sep 14) The first test will be Wednesday, Sep 22. You can take the test either from 5:30pm to 6:50pm in 143 Altgeld Hall, or from 6:30pm to 7:50pm in 147 Altgeld Hall. The first test will cover this material.

(Sep 1) The four tests are scheduled for Wednesdays Sep 22, Oct 13, Nov 10, and Dec 8, either from 5:30-6:50pm or 6:30-7:50pm. If you have a conflict, please contact me as soon as possible. Remember that the top three test scores count towards your final grade, so you can miss one test.
The first homework should be graded by Tuesday. You can pick up graded homeworks during the study session on Tuesday if you want to see them before turning in Homework 2.
(Aug 26) I will hold collaborative study sessions on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6pm in Altgeld Hall Room 241. Prof. Kostochka will hold collaborative study sessions on Mondays from 6:30pm to 8pm in Altgeld Hall Room 145. You are welcome to attend either or both sessions.
I will also hold an office hour from 2pm to 2:50pm on Wednesdays. It seems there is no class immediately following ours, so after class is also a good time to ask questions. Other times are available by arrangement.
