(Mar 9) There will be no class on Fri Mar 18.
(Feb 28) The closed-book portion of the midterm will be Mon Mar 7, 5pm-7pm, in 351 Avery. The material will cover up through the lecture on least squares fitting. A notes sheet (one 8.5x11 sheet with anything written on it, front and back) may be brought.
(Feb 2) Sage linear algebra quick reference, tour, and constructions.
(Jan 31) We will have class on Wed Feb 2 in the Hi-Tech Classroom in 12 Avery.
(Jan 13) Any standard undergraduate linear algebra textbook is a fine resource for the linear algebra background we will use. Some free textbooks online include: Rob Beezer, Jim Hefferon, Stan Payne, Keith Matthews, David A. Santos, and even more.
(Jan 14) Based on the responses on the initial survey, the midterm is scheduled for Mon Mar 7, 5pm-7pm; the room will be announced later.
(Jan 12) There will be no class on Mon Jan 17 (because of Martin Luther King Day) or Fri Jan 21 (since I will be traveling).
